Currently one of the oldest cities on the planet, Naples is unlikely to be thought of as the birthplace of what could be the coffeemaker with the potential to change the coffee industry as we know it. But—Lo and behold!—from this city comes the Didiesse Frog Espresso Machine, a coffee machine unlike any other that we’ve ever known.
To prove how remarkably unique it is, we’ll be examining here for you the Didiesse Frog Espresso Machine; beginning with this coffee machines aesthetics. We don’t know that it was named so for its resemblance to a frog, but the coffee machine’s front does look like a long face. This, however, doesn’t mean the coffee machine won’t be stunning wherever at home you’d choose to place it. We assure you, the coffee machine makes for a sleek conversation piece that will neither take up more space than you’d be willing to give it (it’s 15″ x 8.5″ x 12″ in dimensions) nor slip or fall easily (it weighs 26 lbs).
To help you easily brew coffee right in the comfort of your home, the Didiesse Frog Espresso Machine comes with two aluminum thermoblocks. A thermoblock system is a heating system being utilized in coffee machines. The heating system is able to do so by way of a built-in boiler. Authors say the heating system can’t simultaneously brew coffee and steam or froth milk; consistently generate the required heat and pressure for brewing coffee; and remain scale free. Those at Didiesse look to solve these problems by way of the aforementioned coffee machines unique heating system and patented fast decalcification system. One thermoblock is dedicated to brewing coffee and the other, which is connected to the steam wand, is dedicated to steaming or frothing milk for preparing lattes and cappuccinos. Both are designed to heat water by letting it pass through them. Since they are made of aluminum, they are thermally stable; assuring you that both can maintain the required temperature as the water passes through them, and won’t require alternate heating and cooling as the coffee machine’s steaming function is being employed.
Since it’s an easy-serving-espresso (E.S.E.) pod-only coffee machine, the aforementioned coffee machine takes out much of the guesswork in brewing coffee; making using it truly convenient. To ensure that as much flavor as possible will always be extracted every time you use it, the coffee machine was given a unique pod-insertion design. To insert an E.S.E. pod into the coffee machine, pull on its lever to open its ‘jaws’, or ‘clamp’, and then push down the lever until it catches. This ensures that all the water will flow through the E.S.E pod.
The rest of the useful features of the coffee machine are quick warm-up time, which ensures you won’t have to wait long for your coffee; drip pan and grill, which ensure the coffee machine won’t make a mess when in use; large-capacity (1.5L) water bottle container, which ensures you can make several cups of coffee for your family, friends, and/or guests by way of only one brewing cycle; and containers for instant coffee sachets, which make storing these convenient.
A consumer found the coffee machine’s lack of a built-in water tank strange, but generally consumers are satisfied with their models of it. Furthermore, the coffee machine has received a rating of 4 stars out of 5 on Amazon.

I am a die-hard espresso fan. I love every form of the drink from straight espresso shots to lattes and cappuccinos. I currently use a Breville BES870XL Barista, it is an awesome machine. BUT, my dream machine is definitely an Italian Quickmill Andreja. Those bad boys make badass espresso. I love answering your questions, leave a comment or question below!
